First Steps

Our programmes are designed to support your individual needs. We’re here to guide you through the true Pilates method.

New Clients

All new clients begin with a series of two private sessions (55 minutes each).  You have a few options from this point, some additional private sessions to build your confidence, joining ‘starter’ classes or our semi-private programme. You may also like to train in the private setting ongoing. 

Each of our class types serves a specific purpose and as we are not a one-size-fits-all studio, we will work collaboratively with you in the first steps package to set you up for success. 

During these two private sessions

  • We will get to know what makes you tick and how you learn / work
  • We will co-design your programme based on your postural, exercise and lifestyle goals
  • You’ll be shown the key exercises on each apparatus (Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chairs)
  • We will work collaboratively to design your Pilates journey and make sure you are training optimally to reach your goals
  • You will be shown how to safely and efficiently operate our custom Classical equipment

24 hour cancellation policy in effect + studio is a zipper free zone.

STARTER REFORMER

Once you’ve completed your first steps package this is a great place to start group training.

This class is also ideal for regular clients looking for a slower-paced class or a refresher of technical elements of the work, especially after an absence from the studio.

Get a work out, get the detail of the Classical approach and learn to be responsible for how you use the authentic apparatus. This is a full-body work-out using the fundamental exercises of the Reformer that TMRPILATES clients love and love to hate.

STARTER STUDIO

Once you’ve completed your first steps package this is a great place to start group training.

This class is also ideal for regular clients looking for a slower-paced class or a refresher of technical elements of the work, especially after an absence from the studio.

You’ll get to work on the Tower, the Mat and the Wunda Chair with an instructor who is there to guide your first steps into the world of Pilates, without cracking a whip. This will set you up to work in our classes that are faster-paced and eventually our Joe’s Gym (autonomous format).
